We've loved K-beauty before it was cool.
Over 10 years ago, when Korean skincare was still a well-kept secret in the US, our founder was lugging bags of Korean beauty products back from every trip to Korea — because there was simply no other way to get them. The quality was incredible, the prices were fair, and yet none of it was available to people who didn't have a direct connection to Korea.
That frustration turned into a mission.
How it started
In 2014, we built a team with the know-how to bring K-beauty brands to the US market — officially and at scale. We started distributing beloved brands like COSRX to major US retailers, and slowly but surely, helped introduce Korean skincare to a whole new audience. What was once a niche obsession became a movement, and we were proud to be part of making that happen.
Who we are today
Cupidrop is our way of connecting directly with you — the customer. While our parent company, Beauteers, continues to supply K-beauty to major US retailers and works with Korean brands on their US market strategy, Cupidrop was born out of a desire to go beyond the wholesale shelf. We wanted to curate, tell the stories behind the brands, and bring you the products we genuinely believe in.
Because we work directly with the brands we carry, we can offer you authentic products, honest recommendations, and a shopping experience built around real K-beauty knowledge — not just trends.
We believe great skincare shouldn't be complicated or expensive. K-beauty has always understood that — with its focus on gentle ingredients, thoughtful formulations, and routines that actually work. We're here to make sure you don't have to travel to Seoul to get the good stuff.
