I use this in the morning after my wash and toner and I love it! It evens out the skin tone on my face. It absorbs on the skin quickly and very light to wear on the face, not sticky and not oily to feel which is important to me because I live in the sunny florida. Plus it hydrates my face, and I also use this on my neck and my hands. I will surely buy this again.

I got this as an essence for the summer time and it is my holy grail for that time of year. I have combo leaning dry skin and in the summer I want something light but still hydrating and this does both. Some rosewater as toner, this, and a light moisturizer is enough for me for the day. I have lots of acne scars and this really does help brighten them as well as my entire complexion. I have medium skintone and dullness is a huge issue for me. This was the first time I have seen ANY product help with my dullness and I am so glad. It also does wonders for smoothing skin texture (another issue of mine *sigh*) I can't live without this.

I really wanted to love this because I've had so much success with other COSRX products. It's hydrating but not quite enough – I much prefer Klairs Supple Preparation in that regard. I noticed *some* brightening/glow when I first started using this product but honestly not enough to justify buying this instead of a more hydrating essence/toner. If dullness is your primary concern, this might be for you, but otherwise I'm not sure how much it will really add to your routine.
